Yun Shouping (1633-1690) was a famous Chinese painter from the Qing Dynasty. He was born in Tonglu, Zhejiang Province and studied painting under the guidance of Chen Hongshou and Zhu Da.
Yun was skilled in the technique of flower-and-bird painting, and his works were highly acclaimed for their realism and vividness. He also integrated the artistic styles of other painting schools, such as the Wu School and the Zhe School, into his works.
Yun was highly respected during his time as a painter and was appointed as a painting teacher to the imperial court during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor. His most famous works include "Flowers and Birds", "Chrysanthemums and Rocks", and "Lotuses and Fishes". Yun's paintings are highly valued, and are considered to be important masterpieces in the history of Chinese painting.
